NPR Interview: LCD Soundsystem
Electro-indie-monster LCD Soundsystem put out its third album, This is Happening, in May of this year, so its not the freshest news to hit this forum. The Fresh Air interview of James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, however, is very fresh. Murphy, former DJ, Brazilian Jujitsu connoisseur, and singer-songwriter talks about his rise to greatness, his favorite artists, and why he made the move from DJ to composer.
There are a few reasons to listen to the interview. For my money, NPR hosts the best interview around, and this is no exception. James Murphy is an intelligent composer, whose introspection and experience in and around the music industry contrast with his music, which is basically really sick dance music. He is wise, listen to him.

Koman Coulibaly about to get destroyed by Altidore
What appears to be the worst piece of officiating humanly possible, Coulibaly said in a recent interview, was actually just a clever financial maneuver. Under the thumb of the Slovenian Mafia, Koman Coulibaly was really just “gettin’ his papes up so hard”… Oh, word? Sometimes you have to get your papes people. Plus the game wasn’t important or anything.
While reviewing the game tape we found that during the match the referee from Mali was looking real fresh, often slapping the American players with fat stacks of cash. Upon taking away the goal scored by Edu, he reportedly said, “take that you poor bitch, ha ha… HA HA… MUAHAHAHAAHA (etc)”.

In case you are the biggest nOOb on the fucking planet and fucking missed the USA-Slovenia game…here is a recap.
USA again sucks it up in the beginning of the game and Slovenia scores two goals and celebrate like a bunch of fucking shitheads. USA comes back and ties the game with goals by Landon Donovan and Michael Bradley because we are beasts. Maurice Edu hit in the game winner till this fucking imbecile of a fucking referee, Koman Coulibaly, blows his whistle for nothing and disallows the goal. Yes. We should be happy that we came back from 2 down. But fuck that. WE WAS ROBBED GODDAMMIT.
